Sasha Vermeer
Handpan & integration sessions
Sasha came to Mexico from Amsterdam in 2020 and now hosts handpan-led integration sessions for travelers between ceremonies, festivals or major life transitions. Her work emphasizes nervous system regulation rather than peak experience.
Current sessions
- ◦ 1:1 integration sessions in San Miguel and CDMX
- ◦ Quarterly small-group retreat days outside San Miguel
Background
Sasha trained as a somatic experiencing practitioner in the Netherlands and added handpan and sound work after several years of personal practice. Her clients are often people in the weeks following intense ceremony or before a major life decision.
How she works
Sessions are slow and individualized. They begin with a fifteen-minute conversation about what is alive for the person, followed by a forty-five minute sound and tuning fork session, then ten minutes of integration time without talking. She is explicit that she is not a therapist or medical professional.
Where to find her
Sasha alternates between San Miguel de Allende and a quiet studio in Condesa, CDMX. She also hosts small retreat days at a ranch outside San Miguel four times per year.
