Mayra & Lafur (Wu Wave)
Couple-led sound healing on Isla Mujeres
Mayra and Lafur have shared a path of union for sixteen years and offer Wu Wave sound healing in a beachfront space next to the Caribbean Sea on Isla Mujeres, just off Cancun. Their work pairs gong, Tibetan bowls and unusual instruments — Spiral Sound Bell, sansula, koshi, water bracelets — with hands-on Reiki. Sessions can be received individually, as a couple, or in groups, and they also lead harmonic sound concerts for special events and weddings.
Current sessions

Background
Mayra and Lafur have walked a shared spiritual path for sixteen years, weaving together sound, energy work and ceremony. Wu Wave is the project they run together from a beachfront space on Isla Mujeres, the small island just off Cancun.
How they work
The instrument set is unusually broad: gong, Spiral Sound Bell, Tibetan bowls, sansula, koshi and water bracelets. Reiki runs through the work as energetic underlay rather than as a separate offering. Sessions are designed to be received solo, as a couple, or in small groups.
Where to find them
Their dedicated sound space sits beside the Caribbean Sea on Isla Mujeres, a 20-minute ferry from Cancun. They also travel for custom locations — weddings, retreats and harmonic sound concerts for special events.
