Founder & director of The Sound Healing Institute, Playa del Carmen
Magdalena founded The Sound Healing Institute in Playa del Carmen in 2010. She holds a Master's in philosophy from the University of Warsaw and is certified in sound therapy by the Peter Hess Institute in Germany, as well as in Reiki and Hatha Yoga (RYT 200). She also records sound healing music under the artist name Shankari.

Background
Magdalena trained as a sound therapist at the Peter Hess Institute in Germany and has been holding sound healing spaces since 2001. She founded The Sound Healing Institute in Playa del Carmen in 2010 with a mandate to both serve clients and train new practitioners in Mexico.
How she works
Her sessions combine Tibetan and crystal bowls, gongs and voice, drawing on Peter Hess methodology and her Slavic and Hindu musical influences. The institute also runs structured multi-level sound healing courses for those wanting to become facilitators.
