Vocal artist and sound healer
Katerina Kyritsi is a Greek vocal artist and sound healer who runs Sound Healing Oaxaca from her home studio and art gallery in Oaxaca de Juárez. Trained as a pharmacist (MSc, PhD) before turning to voice as her primary medium, her work explores the spectrum of the human voice, improvisation and harmonic resonance, accompanied by shruti box. She is consistently the highest-rated sound healing practitioner on Tripadvisor for the city of Oaxaca.

Background
Katerina pivoted from pharmacy research to vocal art, now living between Athens and Oaxaca. Her musical work — released on Bandcamp under her own name — explores experimental voice, overtones and alternative means of communication, and her sound-healing practice draws directly from that territory.
How she works
Sessions are intimate and voice-forward. Katerina works with the client’s own voice and humming, layering her vocal harmonics with shruti-box drone and small auxiliary instruments. She can travel to clients’ accommodations or host them at her studio gallery.
