Aurora hosts circle work in San Cristóbal de las Casas, blending sound, voice and silence. Her sessions are slow and have a strong contemplative thread, drawing on years of meditation practice in the Chiapas highlands.

Background
Aurora moved from Marseille to San Cristóbal in 2014 to study with a meditation teacher in the highlands. Her sound practice grew slowly out of those years and now centers on circles rather than performance-style sound baths.
How she works
Her circles begin with thirty minutes of sitting silence, then introduce voice, drums and bowls in long arcs of sound and quiet. Participants are invited to make sound themselves, never required.
Where to find her
Aurora runs a weekly women’s circle in Barrio del Cerrillo and a mixed circle once a month. Several times a year she co-facilitates jungle ceremonies near Palenque with a small team.
